Ingredients:
- One tablespoon. olive oil
- One clove of garlic, crushed
- One small onion, chopped
- One tablespoon of mild curry powder
- 300ml of vegetable broth
- 50ml of single cream
- One ripe banana
- One lime

Preparation
- Heat the oil in a saucepan and gently cook the onion and garlic on low heat for about 10 minutes.
- Add the curry powder and cook while stirring for a further 2 or 3 minutes.
- Add the vegetable broth, chopped banana and juice of the lime. Bring to a boil, and then reduce heat and simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
- Allow cooling to room temperature.
- Pour contents into the smoothie maker. Stir in the cream and blend for about 30 seconds or until smooth. Add more broth or hot water if required.
- Add any salt or pepper, if required. Gently reheat before serving.
