The Pick Me Up – Breakfast Smoothie Recipe

Making equipment:-
  • Smoothie Maker or Blender

Ingredients:

  • One handful of spinach
  • One apple
  • One orange
  • One tablespoon honey
  • 1cm of fresh root ginger
  • One handful of fresh or frozen mango
  • 1/4 pineapple
  • 250ml of coconut water
  • Ice cubes

Preparation:

  1. There is quite a lot to squeeze into this smoothie. I made this recently for my son when he was feeling run down after a bout of a cold winter virus.
  2. He loved the taste of it, and it did perk him up.
